Your groceries, always in sync

Shared grocery lists for families and housemates. Real-time, offline-first, and quietly out of your way.

Sound familiar?

The group chat is quieter now.

Two of us bought milk. Nobody bought bread.

Housemates

I add things all week. By Saturday the list is already done.

Couples

No more "did anyone get eggs?" at 7pm.

Families

How it works

Add it once. Everyone sees it.

One shared list. Real-time updates. Works offline. That's it.

  1. 10:32 · at home

    Sarah adds 'oat milk'

From the couch, in three seconds.

  2. 10:34 · at Trader Joe's

    Mike sees it appear

No nudge needed. No "did you grab…" text.

  3. 10:41 · checking out

    Sarah sees it ✓

One household. One list. Always in sync.

Shared lists

No more "did you grab milk?"

Send your household an invite link and everyone works from the same list.

  • Separate lists for home, a trip, or the office
  • Invite people as viewers or editors
  • Invite links work once and expire after 24 hours

Quick capture

Add it the second you remember

Type it, tap plus, done. No categories to pick and no forms to fill in.

  • Add an item in a couple of taps
  • Quantities and units when you want them, never required
  • Ticked items can sort themselves to the bottom

Works offline

Keeps going when the signal doesn't

Add and tick off items with no connection. Your changes wait on your phone and sync as soon as you're back online.

  • Changes are saved on your phone first
  • Everything syncs when you reconnect
  • A quiet Offline badge, so you always know

Why we built it

We wanted a grocery list, not a grocery store.

Most "smart" grocery apps want you in their store, on their meal kit, or looking at their ads. We wanted the opposite: an app that disappears into your week.

Growcery is built by two people who share a household. The first version was for us. Then friends asked for invites. Now it's here.
